ABOUT US

Our Values
- Diversity and Inclusion: We celebrate the richness of multicultural Australia and actively engage with the Culturally And Linguistically Diverse (CALD) landscape, fostering unity and understanding.
- Collaboration and Partnership: We believe in the strength of partnerships. FHCA is committed to working collaboratively with Hazara communities and various organizations to address shared concerns and interests.
- Empowerment and Knowledge Sharing: FHCA is dedicated to enhancing the skills and knowledge of its members. We believe in the power of shared knowledge and resources to uplift the community.
- Advocacy and Policy Analysis: We serve as a strong advocate and policy analyst on behalf of Hazara communities, ensuring their needs, aspirations, and achievements are recognized and addressed within the broader Australian context.
- Humanitarian Assistance: FHCA actively engages in direct relief efforts, working towards alleviating suffering, poverty, and distress within Hazara communities. We operate programs focusing on education, capacity building, therapeutic interventions, and other benevolent relief services.

Our core mission includes three pivotal elements:
- Promoting Hazara Identity: The Organisation aims at increasing awareness of the culture and heritage of the Hazaras in order to ensure that future generations maintain their roots while assimilating in Australian society with openness to diversity. We are committed to fostering greater appreciation for the unique contributions of the Hazara people.
- Fostering Personal Ambitions: Traditionally, the Hazara people have suffered grave repression and discrimination in their native homeland. We look to offer opportunities for Hazara individuals to pursue their dreams and democratic rights, and to be able to enjoy equality of opportunity that mirrors the principles to which Australia upholds.
- Collective Representation: The FHCA represents the voice of the Hazara community on all welfare, social justice, and charitable issues and all matters regarding the community at large, both nationally and internationally. We work to preserve the Australian values of fairness, inclusion, and equality for the benefit of the Hazara Australians in a rapidly changing world. We are not only the national voice of the Hazara people but also on the international platform. Our presence at high-profiled forums like the 18th International Human Rights Summit at United Nations, New York, and the 4th International Youth Forum in Bangkok has provided us with the opportunity to present the Hazara community’s struggle before the world community, and we are thus deeply committed to human rights globally.
Established with the mission to serve and uplift the Hazara community in Australia, FHCA has a rich history of commitment and service. Our journey involves addressing challenges, celebrating successes, and evolving to meet the ever-changing needs of our community.
Empowering Australian-Hazara communities for a vibrant and inclusive future.
At FHCA, our purpose is to enrich the well-being of the Australian Hazara community by fostering participation, addressing community needs, and advocating for the rights and aspirations of our people. We are dedicated to building a strong and connected community that contributes to the broader Australian society.
