We promote advocacy initiatives We aim to create platforms with our key partners including members of the Hazara community across Australia, to share our visions, challenges and aspirations as a way to strengthen Australian values.

FHCA defends and advances human rights (Hazara rights) to Freedom of Peaceful Assembly worldwide.

The Federation of Hazara Council of Australia strives for the interests and rights of Hazara Australians. Our organization is based on service, advocacy, and community empowerment, with a wide array of programs geared toward the interests of the Hazara community, which include but are not limited to educational support, legal representation, employment service, and leadership for growth and self-sufficiency.

Advocacy lies at the very core of our activities, working directly with government bodies, multicultural organizations, and international institutions for policies that advance the rights of Hazara Australians to seek asylum, refugee status, and freedom from discrimination. We are highly involved in the international struggle for human rights, ensuring the voice of the Hazara community is represented in venues such as the United Nations.

Along with policy advocacy, we do some community-building work. FHCA conducts several events and cultural activities for social cohesion and community engagement: community gatherings, cultural celebrations, and Hazara culture workshops that promote this culture and develop closer relations with other communities in Australia.

FHCA is committed to ensuring that the voice of the Hazara reverberates through international outreach. Participation in various international forums, including the 18th International Human Rights Summit and the 4th International Youth Forum, secures continuous engagement on the world stage. These opportunities avail us of highlighting the ongoing struggles of the Hazara people, advocating for their rights, and building stronger international alliances.
